84 Sqn Cyprus - RAF Helicopters Tackle Large Fires In Cyprus
As the temperatures soared last month, the hot dry environment in Cyprus gave rise to an increase in forest fires which RAF helicopter crews from 84 Squadron were on hand to tackle. Based at RAF Akrotiri, 84 squadron fly Bell 412's which are maintained by Draken to provide vital emergency response capability.
